Union Home Minister and former National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah is coming to Bihar on Friday. They will stay in Purnia and Kishanganj districts for two days. Amit Shah will address a public meeting at Rangbhoomi Maidan in Purnia on Friday, then go to Kishanganj. This is Amit Shah's first visit to Bihar after the formation of the Mahagathbandhan government. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has asked to keep a watch on Shah's activities.
Will address a public meeting in Purnia
According to the information, Amit Shah will reach Chunapur Airport in Purnia on Friday. From there he will go to Rangbhoomi Maidan in Purnia and address the public meeting. After this, they will come back to Chunapur airport and leave for Kishanganj by helicopter.
Will meet BJP leaders in Kishanganj
Amit Shah will stop at Mata Gujri University in Kishanganj, where he will hold a meeting with BJP leaders from the Seemanchal area from 4 pm to 9 pm. Shah will have dinner there. He will leave for Delhi in the evening after attending the government program and party activities in Kishanganj on Saturday.
The first visit by the government of the Grand Alliance
Amit Shah is coming for the first time after the formation of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar. Earlier, he had come to Bihar on 31 July. It is believed that his visit will affect more than a dozen assembly seats in West Bengal adjoining Seemanchal.
Lalu calls for caution
Bihar BJP's preparations have been completed for Amit Shah's visit to Purnia and Kishanganj. All the prominent BJP leaders including BJP ministers and MPs in the central government and office bearers of Bihar BJP have been camping in Seemanchal since Wednesday. On the other hand, anti-BJP parties are giving statements in protest regarding Amit Shah's visit. Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has called upon Amit Shah to be vigilant.
