Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has told that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had announced to convene a meeting soon about the caste-based census. Discussions have been held with all the parties on this subject and this meeting will be held on June 1 in Patna under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar.
In the capital Patna, Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said, "Today, we have written a letter to the leaders with the request to have at least caste-based census in Bihar and everyone should be present on time to discuss how it should be done.". The meeting will be held at 4 pm." Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had clearly said in the past that a caste-based census will be held in the state and will be done in a better way. He said that all preparations are being made for this.
CM Nitish has been vocal about caste census from the beginning
Significantly, CM Nitish Kumar has been vocal about the caste census from the beginning. The all-party delegation from the state under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the caste census. During that time, the central government had refused to conduct a caste census in the present situation, saying so much that the state can conduct a caste census at its level. After this, CM Nitish announced to conduct of a caste census on behalf of the state government.
RJD also supports caste census
