Bhagalpur: 17 towers of 1.32 lakh volts fell in the storm, electricity is being supplied from Banka

17 towers of one lakh 32 thousand volt transmission line have fallen in the storm which came on Thursday. These include 4 towers between Sabour to Kahalgaon, 7 towers between Kahalgaon to Goradih and 6 towers between Sultanganj to Haveli Kharagpur. It may take up to seven days to repair all the towers. The removal work of the tower has started on Friday.
Electricity is being supplied to Bhagalpur by taking electricity from Banka
Here, electricity is being supplied from Banka to the city. Alternate source The city is getting electricity from the transmission line of Banka. Power sub-stations were being given power to supply up to 85 MW in the city late Friday evening. Here, it is being told that the places where the tower has fallen, the tower will be erected again. At present, the Sabour and Sultanganj grids are getting electricity from Banka Power Grid.
Burari Power Sub Station: Mainline breakdown occurred four times in an hour
After the Burari power sub-station was closed for the whole night, the power was turned on at 3 o'clock, then within an hour of it four mainline breakdowns took place. Power failed at 3.05 pm on Thursday night, then after eight minutes it was somehow started. But, after exactly 23 minutes this line failed again. The line was started at 3.45 in the morning, then within five minutes the power stopped. The power was turned on at 4.08 in the morning and did not last even 20 minutes. The line failed at 4.28 am. This time the power of the power sub-station failed for 3.37 hours. Electricity could be started at 8.05 am.
