Road construction work started from Mahgama to Hansdiha

At present road construction work is started from Mahgama to Hansdiha. With the construction of the above road, an alternate route will be prepared from Pirpainti to Deoghar (Jharkhand) and Bengal, so that after the formation of Munger-Mirzachowki four lane, the vehicle from the said route will go to Hansdiha directly from Bhagalpur and adjoining districts by using the Ekchari Mahagama fourlane. And will be able to travel to West Bengal. This will also reduce the pressure of heavy vehicles from Bhagalpur city.

Appointed date sought to start four lane road construction

The construction work is being done after fixing the appointed date in package-2 and three for the construction of Munger Mirza Chowki four lane road. However, due to non-availability of appointed dates in Kahalgaon and Pirpainti in package-4, work is not being started. In this regard, the district administration has requested the Regional Officer of National Highway Authority of India, Bihar to direct the concerned to fix the appointed date, so that work can be started in the said package.

400.08 crore has been paid to the ryots so far

In package two and three, the 3G of all 89 items has been completed and the award has also been announced. Zone wise occupancy of 81 mausoleums has been taken. 400.08 crore has been paid to the ryots in this project so far and 107.20 crore has been deposited in the competent court. Out of this, compensation amount of Rs 21539 crore has been paid only in two zones of package-4, Kahalgaon and Pirpainti. In package-4, out of a total of 40 mouzas, the interference of 34 mouzas has been captured.
