Estimated cost of Rs.24 hundred crores
In this regard, Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen said that the estimated cost of this project was about 24 hundred crores. Out of this, the central government has given about one thousand crores. This year, about two hundred crore rupees were to be received, instead a demand of six hundred crores has been made from the central government.
Road starting from UP border in Bettiah to West Bengal border in Kishanganj
It is worth mentioning that starting from the UP border in Bettiah to the West Bengal border in Kishanganj, this is a very important road from a strategic point of view. In the state, out of about 552 km length, bituminous work has been done in about 184 km stretch and earth work has been done in 393 km. The target has been set to complete the construction of this road by December 2022.
