Electricity company is going to crack down on engineers to stop power theft. From the Superintending Engineer to the Junior Engineer, the target of checking the meter has been fixed by going to the premises of the consumers themselves. Engineer will send his live picture from the consumer's premises to the STF app as proof. Revenue Arvind Kumar, general manager of South Bihar Power Distribution Company, said that information was received about getting the premises checked by manpower. Now the engineers have been given the target of meter checking. They have to go to the spot and check the meter. Sending others has been asked to put the live pictures in the STF app to stop the fraud.

General Manager Revenue informed that the Electrical Superintending Engineer has to inspect 50 premises every month. They have to send their picture too. Similarly, Executive Engineer will inspect 100 premises, Assistant Engineer 200 premises and Junior Electrical Engineer 300 premises.

The General Manager said that not a single FIR has been registered for theft of electricity in many branches of the state. Abuse will not be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against the engineers who do not work according to the set target. The review of the fixed target will be done in the monthly meeting. At present, the Superintending Engineer will also submit the report of the investigation of electricity theft, premises in their respective areas.

In the video, instead of saving the children, the sound of a woman laughing was also heard. The father of a child who was affected by the incident had applied in the police station to Sarpanch Upendra Yadav and his associate Mohd. Shakeel has been named. Police have registered a case and started investigation. At the same time, the children were sent to Khutauna CHC for medical examination. There was heated discussion in the area regarding the incident. The second nominee was said to be the son of a retired watchman of the Laukaha police station area. Laukha police station in-charge Santosh Kumar Mandal said that the matter is being investigated by registering an FIR. The veracity of the viral video is also being investigated. Legal action will be taken in the matter.
