Ex-Patna mayor candidate poses with a weapon; an investigation is opened after viral images

Shweta Jha, a former Mrs. India and candidate for mayor of Patna, is the subject of an inquiry by the Patna police after she stirred up controversy by posting images and videos of herself brandishing a weapon online.
Jha was featured in a video that quickly became popular on social media, where she was holding an INSAS weapon and an AK-47.
A station journal was turned in to the Agamkuan police station, and the police have started their investigation. The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of the state police had originally looked into the situation.
The SHO of the Agamkuan police station has been directed to record a station diary against Shweta Jha, according to Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra, who also announced the commencement of an investigation.
Chandan Jha, Shweta's husband, allegedly said that his wife wanted to work for a gang.
She abandoned me and is now living with her lover. Her guy is making me feel unsafe. We were wed fifteen years ago. In 2021, she took home the title of Mrs. India. Also, I have filed a formal complaint against my wife with the Agamkuan police station," he said.
She was summoned in for questioning on February 28 after the EOU earlier took notice of the occurrence.
Jha posted all of the videos on her Instagram and other social media sites, in which she could be seen brandishing a gun while standing next to a government car.
She recently ran for mayor of Patna, however she was unsuccessful.
