Adani Ent, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, Tata Motors, HCL Tech, and Other Stocks to Keep an Eye on

The Nifty futures contract traded on the Singapore Exchange suggests that local stocks are off to a good start. The contract was up 58 points, or 0.31 percent, from the previous close, trading at 18,621.50.

Adani Enterprises: The firm’s fully-owned subsidiary, Adani Road Transport, signed a deal to purchase Swarna Tollway and Gujarat Road and Infrastructure Company, both of which are totally owned by Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund (56.8% of each).

Shares of IndusInd Bank and Infosys will be in the spotlight today as the businesses’ dividends become payable.

Tata Motors: Compared to the same month last year, the automaker’s overall sales in May fell by 1.62 percent to 74,973 vehicles. At 73,448 units, total domestic sales also fell 2% year over year (YoY). However, domestic passenger car sales increased 6% YoY to 45,878 units.

The 480 megawatt (MW) Phukot Karnali hydropower project will be developed by the state-owned hydro power company, NHPC, in conjunction with the Nepalese utility Vidhyut Utpadan Company. The electricity produced by the project will be channeled into Nepal’s integrated power system by using the flow from the Karnali River.

AstraZeneca: The company’s cancer treatment Tremelimumab Concentrate been given the nod by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO). According to the management, the clearance clears the way for the introduction of Tremelimumab solution 20 mg/ml.

HCL Technologies: The leading player in information technology signed a contract with IIT-Kharagpur for cooperation in the areas of earth sciences and petroleum engineering. Both parties will work together to create cutting-edge, long-term solutions to the major problems facing the petroleum sector.

Dish TV: The group’s two-member board rejected a request from majority shareholders to nominate three of their candidates to the board and said they committed “numerical and procedural lapses.”

In order to create green hydrogen in India, NTPC teamed up with Ohmium International (Ohmium) to build proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers. Energy, transportation, and ammonia projects will all be decarbonized using Ohmium’s cutting-edge green hydrogen technology.

SJVN: For the 669 MW Lower Arun Hydro Electric Project in Nepal, the business has inked a project development agreement. According to the business, the project would be built in five years at a levelized price of Rs 4.99 per unit and a cost of Rs 5,792 crore.

Lupin: The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has given the go-ahead for Novel Laboratories Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of the pharmaceutical giant, to market diazepam rectal gel.

TVS Motor: The business announced the price increase after the government’s FAME II program altered subsidies for electric two-wheelers (E2W). The price increase for the TVS IQube scooter ranges from Rs 17,000 to Rs 20,000, depending on the variation.
