Anil Pant was who? The CEO of Aptech died on August 15th

The CEO and MD of Rekha Jhunjhunwala-backed enterprise Aptech, a supplier of learning solutions, was Dr. Anil Pant. According to Aptech’s registration with the stock market, he died away on August 15.

He has just taken an indefinite leave of absence because of health issues. As a result of his deteriorating health, Pant took an indefinite leave of absence on June 19, according to a corporate filing with the stock market at the time. The same day, a company emergency meeting was conducted. An interim committee composed of chosen Board members and senior management was created by the company to guarantee effective operation and continuation of activities.


The business began offering IT training in 1986. Aptech became the first IT training firm in Asia when it received the ISO 9001 quality certification in 1993.



Anil Pant was appointed CEO and Managing Director of Aptech in 2016. Before assuming this role, he had positions at Sify Technologies and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).


Anil Pant earned a Bachelor of Engineering and a PhD in computer technology from Malaysia’s Lincoln University College. He graduated from Bangalore University and BMS College of Engineering.


Pant has almost 20 years of experience in the IT and communication fields.


Dr. Anil Pant has more than 15 years of experience in the IT and communication fields, where he has held a variety of positions with responsibility for Quality, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product Management, which leads to P&L accountability.


In his role as principal consultant at TCS from 2010 to 2016, Pant amassed a $100 million testing practice.


From 2008 until 2010, he was Sify Technologies’ vice president. He has also held a variety of positions with major corporations including Crompton Greaves, Wipro, Blow Past, and Tally.


Aptech runs two business divisions: retail and non-retail. The retail sector consists of global information technology (IT) and multimedia training. Arena Animation, Avalon Academy, Aptech Worldwide, and ACE (Aptech Computer Education) are just a few of the brands that Aptech created.
