For Cutting-Edge EV Charging Technologies, Servotech Collaborates With Electra EV | View Details Here

Servotech Power Systems Ltd. has applied for patents on a jointly-owned, ground-breaking EV charging system. The company has announced this partnership. By adding a connection utilising a modest extra device, these innovative solutions allow rapid DC charging of any GB/T Bharat DC 001 car (which are on under 200V DC platforms) via the CCS2 charging network.

Serving OEM and fleet clients, Electra EV saw this requirement. This invention helps commercial vehicles that depend on the GB/T Bharat DC 001 protocol as well as passenger services by removing the requirement for costly dual infrastructure development and paving the road for seamless charging compatibility.

Chief Technical Officer of Servotech Power Systems Ltd., Arun Handa, said, “We are excited to collaborate with Electra EV, a business that shares our vision for a sustainable and accessible e-mobility future.”

“This partnership combines a dedication to innovation with outstanding technical skills. The creation of a next-generation EV charging network that benefits both companies and consumers will be accelerated by the shared ownership of these patents.

According to Samir Yajnik, CEO of Electra EV, “Electra EV is happy to announce the collaboration with Servotech Power Systems, which is working towards reimagining the EV charging landscape with solutions that are fit for purpose.”

The collaboration between Electra EV and Servotech Power Systems Ltd. marks a significant turning point in the development of the electric vehicle sector in India and other nations using the GB/T Bharat DC 001 standard.

This concerted effort lays the groundwork for the widespread use of electric cars by reducing prices and simplifying the infrastructure needed for charging.
