Hardeep Puri, the petroleum minister, made a significant announcement on the cost of fuel and diesel

According to Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, if global crude oil prices stay constant, oil firms would be in a position to explore lowering the price of petrol and diesel. He predicted that the future oil corporations’ quarterly reports will be favourable. Puri claimed he was unable to make any announcements at the time in response to inquiries on gasoline pricing at the BJP headquarters.

“We will assess our options moving ahead. State-owned oil marketing firms (OMCs), according to Puri, had a successful quarter. Some of the losses have been somewhat offset by them (businesses). He did a great job fulfilling his company obligation. We’ll see what can be done as we go ahead in this area. The Narendra Modi-led administration, according to the Union minister, has taken steps to prevent a rise in oil prices beginning on April 22, 2022.

He said that the government will make sure that clients would not have any issues. Puri said that although it is possible to provide everything for “free,” doing so would enter risky political area and accuse the opposition of engaging in “rewari politics.” Let’s just say that the cost of fuel and diesel has remained consistent for the last year. If the cost of crude oil stays stable on the world market, the cost of petrol and diesel in India may go down, which would be a comfort to the average person.
