The parent company of Instagram and Facebook, Meta, has just revealed a number of new AI-powered capabilities for advertisers and public users. Meta is now formally launching the generative AI-powered features to assist marketers in producing ad creatives in the Ad Manager. The functionality is now being phased-out and will be available to all users by the end of the next year.

With the use of these innovative AI features, such as “Background Generation,” “Image Expansion,” and “Text Variations,” marketers can now boost their advertising campaigns.

Advertisers can now create a number of backdrops to go with their product images, enabling them to tailor their creative materials for different target audiences.

2. Image Expansion: On different platforms, such as Feeds or Reels, advertisers have the option to seamlessly adapt creative content to fit diverse aspect ratios. Repurposing creative material thus requires less effort and money.

3. Text Variations: Depending on their initial language, marketers may create a variety of ad text versions using this tool. Advertisers may use a range of text options to effectively reach their target market by emphasizing the advantages of their products or services.

Meta conducted early testing of these AI capabilities earlier this year with a variety of advertisers. The results show that by accelerating the creative process, generative AI may save marketers five to seven hours per week.

Meta has also alluded to the potential creation of new AI skills, such as enhanced methods for writing ad material that emphasizes selling points and distinctive generated backdrops.

Additionally, Meta recently revealed plans to enable businesses to employ AI for messaging on WhatsApp and Messenger. This invention aims to enhance customer connection, support, and online transactions.
