Inaugurating the OPTCL TECH Tower in Bhubaneswar is Patnaik

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik officially opened an Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited facility that was constructed for an estimated Rs 55 crore.

According to Patnaik, OPTCL plays a big part in the state’s transmission infrastructure.

Modern design and technology were used in the construction of the OPTCL Tech Tower building to guarantee workplace safety and energy efficiency.

The development of the power industry is greatly aided by the work of the Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited, which is responsible for supplying the people of Odisha with dependable and high-quality energy service.

The state had 16 lakh users in 2000, but there are currently 97 lakh consumers there. In contrast to the 80 grids that existed in 2000, there are currently 194 grid substations. According to a published statement, the transmission line’s length has expanded from 9,400 circuit km to 16,300 circuit km, and the transformation capacity has increased from 6,125 MVA to 25,800 MVA.
