Job Postings Will Soon Be Available In Your Twitter Feed

Twitter seems to be working on a job posting function that would enable verified businesses to publish job postings on their accounts in an effort to compete with LinkedIn.

The business set up a @TwitterHiring account on the microblogging service, but has not yet tweeted anything from it. Nima Owji, an app researcher, revealed the capability on Thursday and said, “#Twitter will let verified organizations import all of their jobs to Twitter by connecting a supported ATS or XML feed!”

“Connect a supported applicant tracking system or XML feed to add your jobs to Twitter in minutes.”

The service, dubbed “Twitter Hiring,” is a “free” option for “verified organizations to post jobs on your company profile, and attract top talent to your open positions,” the firm claims in the picture.

Additionally, up to five employment vacancies may be added to the profiles of verified organizations. Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, made a hint about this functionality in May of this year. Twinder was a dating app that a user had proposed, and Musk responded, “Interesting idea, maybe jobs too.”

The new job listings function is now available to media business Workweek, according to its CEO Adam Ryan, and is part of the Rs 82,300 a month Verified for Organizations subscription.

Despite the fact that individuals may already post job openings through tweets on the microblogging site, the new function may make it easier for businesses to find suitable people.

According to TechCrunch, in May, Twitter made its first purchase since Musk took control, which was the job-matching internet business Laskie. Therefore, it’s conceivable that the purchase helped the microblogging platform develop and introduce the functionality.
