Launching on July 26 are the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5: How to Prepare

On July 26 (Wednesday), the South Korean technology giant Samsung will conduct its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. In addition to the newly released Galaxy Tab S9 and the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the firm is predicted to release the two most anticipated foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. IST in India, the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event will be aired live on the Samsung website, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube page. The business has not released information on the cost or the features of the new foldables, but rumors have already started to surface.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will reportedly be on sale in India starting on August 14. Pre-reservations are possible on the Samsung website, Amazon, Flipkart, and at Samsung-only retail locations. Customers who pre-reserve will get rewards worth Rs. 5,000. Pre-orders for the devices will begin on July 26, immediately after their release, according to 91mobiles’ report.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to have three storage options, with prices ranging from EUR 1,899 for the 256GB model to EUR 2,039 for the 512GB model to EUR 2,279 for the 1TB model. It will be available in Black, Blue, and Cream hues. The Galaxy Z Flip 5, on the other hand, is anticipated to offer two storage options: 256GB for EUR 1,199 and 512GB for EUR 1,339. It will come in variations of the colors Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Water Green.

Regarding features, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is anticipated to power both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will include a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED cover screen in addition to a 7.6-inch full-HD+ (1,812 x 2,176 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED main display. In contrast, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to have a 6.7-inch main Dynamic AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,640 pixels) and a 3.4-inch secondary display.
