According to reports, Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi intends to introduce the Pad 7 series, the Pad 6 lineup’s replacement, in its native nation early next year. The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are anticipated to be the two models in this forthcoming series, and they may have significant improvements.
According to a GSMChina rumor, Xiaomi plans to introduce the new Mi Pad 7 series in April of next year. The rumor suggests that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro could not be released internationally and instead stay exclusive to the Chinese market.
Although Xiaomi hasn’t officially verified the tablet’s specifications, some information has leaked, as shown in a Mi Code. This is the Pad 7 Pro. According to the rumor, the next tablet is codenamed “sheng,” which means “musical instrument” in Mandarin. Xiaomi has a habit of referring to its Pad series tablets by codenames derived from musical instruments.
As to the rumor, the tablet with the model number “N81A” is anticipated to come with a 10-inch Tianma display. It is probable that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will include an LCD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 1480×2367 pixels. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, in contrast, has an 11-inch screen.
According to these most recent reports, which are consistent with past conjectures from Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor may power the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. Similar to the previous model, Xiaomi’s next tablet is expected to run Android 14 HyperOS, the company’s newest operating system, and come with a quad-stereo speaker system.
In the meanwhile, China is set to get the Redmi K70 series from Xiaomi on November 29 at 7:00 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. IST). The Redmi Watch 4, Redmi Buds 5 Pro TWS headphones, and Redmi Book 16 2024 laptop will also be unveiled during the event in addition to the new array of smartphones.
5,000mAh batteries and three rear camera modules are reportedly included with both variants. It is verified that Qualcomm’s most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets power the Redmi K70 Pro.
