Maruti recalls more than 16,000 Baleno and WagonR vehicles

Maruti Suzuki India said on Friday that it was recalling more than 16,000 Baleno and WagonR vehicles in order to address a potential issue with a fuel pump motor component.

In a regulatory statement, the biggest automaker in the nation said that 11,851 Baleno and 4,190 WagonR cars made between July 30, 2019 and November 1, 2019 are being recalled by the business.
It went on to say that there may be a potential flaw in a fuel pump motor component, which, in an extremely unusual circumstance, might cause an engine to stall or have trouble starting.

The manufacturer said that Maruti Suzuki licenced dealer workshops would get in touch with the owners of affected vehicles and arrange for a free replacement of the component. organisations
