Microsoft Unveils Three New Console Variants for the Xbox Series S/X: Every Detail

During this week’s Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft revealed three new Xbox Series S/X console choices. The Xbox portfolio now offers three new configurations: a 2TB Xbox Series X Special Edition in Galaxy Black, an all-digital Xbox Series X, and a 1TB SSD storage Xbox Series S in Robot White. Later this year, around the holidays, the three new console models will be available in a few areas.

The Xbox parent company has not yet disclosed the future Xbox Series S/X models’ availability or regional price. Microsoft is reportedly going to start accepting preorders for three more Xbox models shortly.

According to Microsoft, the new console versions will give consumers additional design, storage, and price options, along with the same speed and performance as the existing Xbox Series S/X devices. For instance, the Xbox Series X all-digital is less expensive than the Xbox Series X basic with a disc drive.

Xbox One-Tab Digital Edition, Series X

Leaked court documents from the Microsoft v. US FTC lawsuit from the previous year indicate that the business was working on a digital version of the Xbox series X. As previously revealed by Microsoft, this year’s Xbox Series X will only be offered digitally. Robot White will be the console’s digital version, with 1TB of SSD storage (current Series X variations are limited to Carbon Black). The new version is less expensive than the $499.99 disk edition of the Series X, retailing for $449.99/EUR 499.99 (about Rs 37,000).

Xbox Series S: Robot White 1TB Console

Robot White color style and 512GB of storage were standard on the Xbox Series S. Microsoft unveiled the Xbox Series S with 1TB of storage and a brand-new Carbon Black color scheme last year. Robot White is now an option for more storage. The Xbox Series S 1TB in Robot White will cost $349.99/EUR 349.99 (about Rs 29,000) in some locations. However, the manufacturer has not yet verified the cost or availability for India.

Xbox Series X: Special Edition 2TB Galaxy Black

A special variant of the Xbox Series X with improved 2TB storage and a gorgeous new Galaxy Black color scheme will also be released by Microsoft. The console has a black base, a green stand, and a heavenly appearance of silver, grey, and green. An Xbox wireless controller is also included with the limited edition system. Limited edition Xbox Series X Galaxy Black Special Edition will retail for $599.99/EUR 649.99 in certain regions.
