Nothing to include ChatGPT into each and every one of its audio offerings

May 14, New Delhi: Tuesday saw the announcement by London-based consumer tech company Nothing that all of its audio devices would now include OpenAI’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT.

The business first said that ChatGPT will be included into its recently released Nothing Ear and Ear (a), which it debuted last month.

The consumer tech company is now going to include ChatGPT into all of its other audio devices, such as the CMF Neckband Pro, CMF Buds, Ear (1), Ear (stick), and Ear (2).

“The integration will be available on the additional products via a Nothing X app update on May 21, earlier than the previously announced June rollout,” the business said in a statement.

“Users will be able to pinch-to-speak to ChatGPT directly from Nothing audio products paired with Nothing phones,” it said.

In the meanwhile, Nothing said that during the first quarter of this year (January through March), it had a 144% increase in growth (year over year).

The business claimed to have gained “significant mind share” with their mid-range model, the Nothing Phone (2a), using statistics from Counterpoint Research to support its claims of growth.

Nothing introduced Phone (2a), their third smartphone, in India in March of this year.

Since its founding in 2020, Nothing has sold over 3 million items worldwide, including Phone (1).
