Rajeev Chandrashekar: Raghuram Rajan’s tenure as governor of the RBI destroyed the whole banking system

Raghuram Rajan, the former governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has come under fire from Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar. During a press conference, the minister attacked Rajan. In his words, “I believe he (Rajan) should determine if he is a politician…a failed politician…or a failed economist.We all know that Raghuram Rajan destroyed the banking sector while serving as the governor of the RBI, the minister said.


A lesson on RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar was reportedly removed from school textbooks. The minister also criticized the Congress administration in Karnataka, claiming that the party’s perspective on history is restricted to the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty.

The senior BJP official dismissed the rumored action as Congress attention-seeking activities and said that the party has a long history of erasing those who are not associated with a “dynasty” from the country’s past.

According to Madhu Bangarappa, the minister of primary and secondary education for Karnataka, textbook modification would be carried out in the kids’ best interests this school year.

Chandrasekhar also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to preventing efforts to damage Internet users while expressing worries about the rising toxicity and crime on the internet.

Chandrasekhar also said that stakeholder discussions on the Digital India Bill will start this month. Chandrasekhar is the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Electronics & Technology. He also said that a new personal data protection measure will soon be presented to Parliament.

Chandrasekhar acknowledged that state governments are responsible for maintaining peace and order and emphasized the value of cooperation between the federal government and the states in carrying out successful programs.
