Scammers Posing As India Post To Offer You New Phones: iPhone 15 Gift Scam Alert

What if we told you that by sending your friends a link, India Post will give you a free iPhone 15? It seems too wonderful to be true, isn’t it? Since it is.According to an official post by India Post on X (previously Twitter), online scammers are utilizing IndiaPost’s brand to trick consumers into sharing a scam website with five groups or 20 friends in exchange for a brand-new iPhone 15 device.

India Post has categorically said that it is a fraud and is not connected to it. “Please be careful,” India Post said on X. “India Post is not giving any kind of gift through any unofficial portal or link,” it was said.

Unsolicited phony links on social media are unacceptable, and you should check such claims before spreading them and causing an even greater problem—for you and others. It is unclear precisely how this scam operates.

Additionally, the more connections consumers make, the more data fraudsters get, enabling them to ultimately swindle more people. Additionally, since this fraud includes visiting foreign links, it may lead to losses both financially and emotionally because it may take you to harmful websites.

Always check such claims by going to the official websites of the claiming authority, but in general, if anything seems too good to be true (like a free iPhone 15 that costs Rs 79,900), it probably is. For the sake of your own safety and the protection of others you care about, avoid blindly falling for such frauds.
