The Honda Activa's Smart Key variant costs Rs. 80,537

Honda has released the Smart Key version of its Activa scooter in India, according to New Delhi. It will be delivered to dealerships before the end of January. A multipurpose button inside the automobile and a smart key similar to those used in cars are coupled with the two-wheeler to execute numerous tasks. Passengers may lock and unlock the vehicle, as well as access the fuel cap or under-seat storage, with the help of the multipurpose rotary knob.

The new Honda Activa has additional safety features than the base model. Its physics, form, and structure, however, have not changed.

India has had the Activa for sale since 2001, and the introduction of a new trim would definitely increase sales. In this class, the automobile competes with designs like the Yamaha Fascino and TVS Jupiter.

The multifunctional knob may be used to unlock/start the scooter, open the fuel lid, and even get entry to the boot compartment when the smart key is nearby.

When the key is not available, the two-wheeler locks itself.
The scooter's indicators will turn on when the "Find My Vehicle" button on the key is touched, making it simple to find.

Modern security technology called H-Smart is included with the scooter. As soon as the smart key leaves the vehicle's range, it switches on automatically.

The Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), which is used on the company's high-end bikes, notably the CRF 1100L Africa Twin, is a more economical version of this system. Given the high prevalence of auto theft in our nation, this security system could be useful.

The Honda Activa has a chic front apron with chrome highlights, a flat footboard, a single-piece seat with a pillion grab rail, and blacked-out mirrors with smart keys.

The scooter has a knob-style switch, an LED headlight, an analog instrument cluster, and blacked-out alloy wheels. It has a 5.3-liter gasoline capacity and a weight of 105 kg.

The Honda Activa with Smart Key is powered by a 109.5cc, four-stroke engine that has a maximum output of 7.74 horsepower and a maximum torque of 8.9 Newton meters. The mill is coupled to an automatic gearbox.

For extra safety, the Honda Activa with Smart Key has drum brakes on both the front and back wheels. Additionally, a combined brake system has been included for enhanced road handling. The suspension of the scooter is provided by three-step adjustable springs at the rear and telescopic forks up front.

In India, the price of the Honda Activa Smart Key model is Rs. 80,537. Standard and Deluxe versions cost, respectively, Rs. 74,536 and Rs. 77,036. (All costs are ex-showroom.) By the end of January, deliveries of the new model will start.
