To qualify for Ayushman Bharat, the Haryana government raises the family income ceiling to Rs 3 lakh

The Ayushman Bharat Yojana income threshold has been raised by the Haryana government from Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 3 lakh annually. The declaration was made by the chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, during the Jan Samvad celebration in the Yamunagar district’s Bakana Village. He described the rise as a generous gift to the populace.

Families that qualify for the program get free medical care. After paying an additional fee of Rs. 1,500 each year, new families may register up to September 30. The cards will only be created online using a Family ID. To register oneself under this program, families must have a Family ID or PPP ID.

The Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Haryana formerly covered households with yearly incomes under Rs 1.8 lakh. The family’s income as shown on the family identification card is taken into account by the government. Families were not qualified for this program if it was over the specified measure. Now, this will be altered. Families with a yearly income of Rs 3 lakh will now be eligible for Ayushman Yojana cards.

The Haryana government has made this expansion in order to cover the 8 lakh households who were previously left out of this program owing to yearly income requirements. According to official statistics, almost 8 lakh households in the state earn an income of Rs 3 lakh each year. These families may now benefit from the country’s health insurance program thanks to the new legislation.

The Ayushman Bharat Chirayu Haryana Yojana income cap for families was raised by the Haryana CM from Rs 5 lakh to around Rs 38 lakh. Families who get the card created for them as part of the country’s health insurance program will be able to receive free medical care at 1,290 public and private institutions. Fortis Hospital and Medanta Medicity Hospital are two of the 575 private hospitals on the list.

The 1,500 ailments that are covered by the Ayushman Bharat Yojana are all treated free of charge. Among other illnesses, it also covers the treatment of cancer and heart attacks.
