Delhi, New: Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, said on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday that X users will soon have the option to pin their posts for viewing by all of their followers. Elon Musk, the owner of X, said in the post that one pinned post will be permitted per 48 hours. “A change is coming to our recommendation algorithm that will ensure that all of your followers see your pinned posts,” the billionaire said in his remarks. Musk said that the method of one pin post per 48 hours will prevent the “gamification of system.”

Here’s additional information about the X upgrade.

Posting X Pins for 48 hours

Elon Musk just revealed an upgrade for X users that would allow followers to see pinned posts. By making sure that a person’s pinned post is accessible to all of their followers once every 48 hours, this upgrade seeks to improve user engagement. By restricting the frequency of display to one per day, the recommendation algorithm modification will prioritize displaying followers these pinned content and avoid system abuse. A post that is pinned is one that is permanently positioned at the top of a user’s profile, appearing as the first item to be seen when accessing the profile. Simply touching on their profile symbol, selecting the post to be pinned, and selecting the “Pin to Profile” option are the steps users must do in order to pin a post.

What Effect Will It Have on X Users?
With more control over what information is emphasized on their accounts thanks to this new functionality, users may be able to increase exposure and engagement with significant postings. Through frequent visibility of pinned posts, users may efficiently disseminate important information or changes to a wider audience within their network. In the meanwhile, fans are anticipating the update’s arrival and are thrilled about the possibility that it will finally allow them to stay up to speed with everyone they follow.

Elon Musk recently revealed plans to establish a competing email service to Gmail, which may go by the moniker XMail. Though there are little specifics available regarding XMail, rumors indicate that anonymity, speedier delivery, and a straightforward design may be its top priorities. Musk announced the launch of XMail in response to reports that Gmail will be shutting down, which caused some anxiety and debate among techies. Google has reassured users that Gmail is not going away and will continue to operate, despite the excitement surrounding XMail.

Musk’s participation with XMail represents an extension of his technology endeavors and a possible change in the email service industry. Nathan McGrady asked Musk when XMail would debut, to which Musk cryptically answered, “It’s coming.” This led to the unveiling of XMail. This action suggests that Musk wants to compete with Gmail’s hegemony and provide consumers with an alternate email communication platform.

As it gets ready to join the competitive email service market, the IT world is keen to learn more about XMail and its features. Compared to other email services like Gmail, XMail may bring about major changes and provide consumers a novel email experience because of Musk’s creative thinking and track record of upending industries.
