Aaliyah Is Not Content Sandeep Reddy Vanga was promoted by Anurag Kashyap, who said, “You Agreed It Was Horrible Film.”

Aaliyah Kashyap, the daughter of Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, voiced her displeasure when her father complimented Animal in a photo he posted with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The topic of the director of Gangs of Wasseypur’s photo with Vanga was brought up during her latest podcast interview. Aaliyah voiced her distaste for Animal, directed by Ranbir Kapoor. She said that she “bit*hed” about the “horrible, misogynistic” movie with Anurag and that the director acknowledged her concerns before sharing a photo with Vanga a week later.

Aaliyah said, “I was not very happy about the caption of the post where you were promoting the guy,” on her podcast, Young, Dumb & Anxious. After seeing Animal, I contacted you right away to tell you how much I detested it and what a terrible, sexist film it was. You agreed with me. When I checked Instagram a week later, my father had posted something endorsing a guy I was b*tching about.

Anurag said that, like Vanga now, he was a canceled filmmaker at the height of his career and that he was aware of how lonely it can be. “You were a lot younger when your father’s film projects were shelved. Numerous folks canceled me when Dev D was out. It was me, the person impenetrable. “What a misogynistic film!” some exclaimed. The Gangs of Wasseypur, despite the fact that my protagonists were employed by agencies, suffered a similar fate. It is not appropriate to isolate or attack someone, as I have often seen people do,” he said.

He went on to say that having contrastive conversations is crucial as an alternative to isolating someone. Although I’m not good at social media, I used to be a blogger back when blogs were the norm. Because I believed that the whole business was my adversary, I used to act in the same way against it all. I was furious and irrational at the same time. I would discuss other industry figures with Karan Johar. I recall that after Dabangg, Salman Khan and I got into an argument. I mean, I got all riled up against him. I was quite angry at the moment. I too became lonely without anybody realizing it. People began to perceive things differently over time, and I personally detest cancel culture. If I know someone, I will ask them personally if I don’t enjoy a movie,” he said.

Anurag spoke candidly about meeting Vanga as well. “I like him; I met him.” I’m fond of the man. I wanted to ask him about his film and I also had some questions of my own. The director said, “I like the man. I had a lengthy five-hour talk with him after I invited him.

Regarding work, Anurag’s Kennedy has not yet been given a release date.
