Abhishek Bachchan claims that Amitabh Bachchan was unaware about Comic Con and that he “told him it’s a huge deal”

The gripping preview for Nag Ashwin’s epic Kalki 2898 AD, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, was first seen at San Diego Comic-Con. The movie, which also stars Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas, is said to be one of the most costly ones ever produced in India. Being unveiled at Comic Con was thus a big accomplishment for the whole since it was the first Indian movie to be given a spot there.

Big B, however, had no idea of the significance of Comic Con or what it stood for. Abhishek Bachchan, his son, explained it to him at that point.

“And… the first look of Project K has just been released at this huge Film event in San Diego called Comic-Con,” Amitabh Bachchan said in one of his most recent blogs. I must be honest and say that before I explained or rather asked Abhishek what this was about, he responded with a stunned expression on his face, “Dad… Comic-Con? This is a significant matter.

And now, as I participate in a Zoom call at the premiere, I can’t help but be overcome with appreciation for Nagi Ashwin and his crew for producing such a remarkable movie. I’m attempting to post the teaser here, but I’m not skilled enough. I’m hoping that by morning, there will be enough assistance to complete this. Abhishek’s response was spot on.’Whoa!!! It’s a big deal. Laddo peda (candy) is all in his mouth for this, I suppose.

Kamal Haasan praised Amitabh Bachchan and added, “We are very honored to be surrounded by Amitji’s energy.” Stop being so humble, Kamal, Amitabh humorously said in response. You are much superior to all of us. The megastar said, “His movies are full of authenticity. He puts a lot of work into each movie. He has done some very incredible parts. Being in the same movie as him is an honor. We’ve worked on a few movies together, but this one is going to be very unique.

In a more lighthearted tone, Kamal Haasan remembered, “I was an assistant director on Sholay. I detested the movie so terribly that I was unable to sleep the night I saw it. I hated the director even more now. That was my response when I got the chance to collaborate with a fantastic director, and I told him as much. As a technician, I had trouble sleeping that night, and Amitji has produced other films of this kind. I never envisioned him complimenting my films in such a positive way.

Project K made history by being the first Indian movie to ever have its premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2023. A Project K billboard in Times Square, New York City, baited the public before to the event with the phrase “First glimpse on July 20.”

Earlier, Prabhas’ first appearance was made public. Prabhas, the movie’s “Rebel Star,” appeared on the poster with metal armour, dreadlocks, and a bushy beard. The sci-fi fantasy thriller is planned for January of the following year. In addition to Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Nag Ashwin, the panel discussion will include Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.
