Actress Annie Wersching from The Vampire Diaries Dies at 45 After Fighting Cancer

According to her publicist, 45-year-old actress Annie Wersching passed away from cancer. She was most known for her work on the television series "The Vampire Diaries," "24," "Bosch," and "Timeless."
Even after receiving the 2020 diagnosis, Wersching kept working, starring in The Rookie and Star Trek: Picard in Season 2 as the Borg queen. She also provided Tess' voice in the well-known computer game The Last Of Us, which HBO turned into a TV show, according to Deadline.
Actor Stephen Full, Wersching's spouse, made a comment.
"This family's soul is now pierced by a vast void. She did, however, provide us the means to do so. In the most mundane situation, she discovered wonder. She could dance without any accompaniment. She showed us that adventure doesn't always find you. "Go locate it. It's all over. And we'll locate it."
"She would shout "Bye!" until we were out of sight and into the world as I drove our sons, the genuine joys of her life, down the curving road and street. It's still ringing, I can hear it. I love you small family, bye my buddy."
Executive producer and director of 24 Jon Cassar also paid homage. "More parts of my heart are crushed than I can count. Annie entered my life with an open mind and an infectious grin."
"I was astounded by the ability she displayed. To me, my family, and every cast and crew person who worked with her, Annie developed into more than just a coworker; she became a true friend. They, as well as the fans she always made time to communicate with, will sincerely miss her. We will all miss you, Annie, but you left your mark and made a difference for everyone."
Sandy and Frank Wersching provided for Wersching's upbringing in St. Louis. Amelia Joffe was her first significant role on General Hospital. She later appeared in Seasons 7 and 8 of 24 as Renee Walker. Wersching has had significant roles in the television series "The Vampire Diaries," "Runaways," "Extant," "Timeless," "Bosch," and "The Rookie."
Exact 20 years after she made her film playing debut in a Star Trek: Enterprise episode, she had one of her last parts in Season 2 of "Star Trek: Picard."
Her spouse, Freddie (12), Ozzie (4), and Archie (4), her children, all survive her.
