After 23 years, Kareena Kapoor on Her Streaming Debut: “This Feels Like A New Launch”
Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan is getting ready to make her digital debut in a Sujoy Ghosh-directed murder thriller for Netflix.
After 23 years in Hindi film, Kareena, who will play a tough part, says her digital debut feels like a fresh start.
“I am thrilled to be coming on Netflix with a very special project,” Kareena said. I have the nerves of a newcomer even though I’ve been doing this for 23 years! The tale is so original and exciting that audiences will get to witness me in a character that I have never performed before.
She said that the industry leader in streaming has consistently shown films from many countries in the most genuine way possible, supporting creators who are passionate about their work.
In the year 2000, Kareena made her acting debut in “Refugee.” In the years that followed, she appeared in movies including Asoka, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Chameli, Omkara, Jab We Met, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Kurbaan, Talaash: The Answer Lies Within, Heroine, Udta Punjab, 3 Idiots, Bodyguard, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Singham Returns, Veere Di Wedding, and Good News.
