After four decades, the iconic double-decker coaches of the Flying Ranee Train are lost in favor of a new avatar

With her kissing sequences in her new online series The Trial: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha, Kajol has grabbed the internet by storm. Jisshu Sengupta and Ally Khan are Kajol’s co-stars in the program. In The Trial, Kajol plays a housewife who is left to care for her family alone when her husband (Jisshu) is imprisoned for a sex scandal. Ally portrays Kajol’s former college sweetheart.

Even though Kajol’s performance in The Trial has been praised, online leaks have shown her kissing sequences with Jisshu and Ally. A video of the kissing sequences with Kajol was published on Twitter. The video quickly became popular on the internet, and internet users responded to it in a variety of ways. It’s interesting to note that for the web series, Kajol defied her 29-year-old “no kiss” rule. According to media accounts, Kajol has performed two on-screen kissing sequences before to this one in her career. The first appeared in her feature film debut, Bekhudi, while the second appeared in Yeh Dillagi, a 1994 movie.

Kajol has also been in the headlines recently for supposedly criticizing Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan box office performance. The Trial star was asked to share a question she’d want to ask her close buddy SRK during an interview. How much money did Pathaan really earn, the actress said in jest. She responded with a giggle, but many others were watching the video.

Ajay Devgn, Kajol’s actor-husband, also co-produced The Trial. “The series never really takes its eyes off Kajol, and the never-a-hair-out-of-place, always immaculate actor, clad in elegant pastels along with some immense confidence, is the backbone of the entire show,” reporter said in its review of the web series. You hope she would get a bit rumpled or ruffled when everything around her seemed to be coming apart, particularly when you see her with her spouse. However, it’s amazing to see Kajol get back on the grid and grow into her part, especially when she begins to show signs of becoming a woman who understands her inherent toughness and learns to stay one step ahead.
