After receiving Sharon Stone’s “Honoree Award” at the Red Sea Film Festival, Ranveer Singh bonds with Johnny Depp, his “screen icon.”

In a star-studded ceremony at the third Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Ranveer Singh received “The Red Sea: Honoree Award” from Hollywood legend Sharon Stone. Stars such as Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Baz Luhrmann, and others attended the occasion, demonstrating a confluence of admiration and brilliance. During the event, Stone praised Bollywood “Heart Throb” Singh, who is well-known for his energetic performances and avant-garde aesthetic, calling him a “all-around creative genius.” Taking center stage to collect the much-coveted trophy that Shah Rukh Khan won last year, Ranveer Singh showed elegance while wearing an all-black outfit that included a beautiful shirt, a shimmering jacket, and matching slacks.

Legendary actress Sharon Stone expressed her joy to give Ranveer the award. “I have had the thrilling pleasure of meeting Ranveer Singh before,” she said. What a wonderful man! He is a true creative genius in every way. It really brings me immense joy to greet him on stage as he accepts another esteemed honor.”

When Singh took the stage with Johnny Depp, the well-known actor from “Pirates of the Caribbean,” the historic event became even more unforgettable. The ’83 actor, clearly influenced by Depp, called the Hollywood actor his “inspiration” and thanked him for the chance to take a picture with him. The two stars looked amazing together in their black semi-formal attire.

Singh expressed his sincere appreciation to his supporters during his victory speech, recognizing their steadfast support. “I would most want to thank my lovely fans. They have served as my inspiration. They motivate me to reach new heights, pursue excellence, and discover that priceless moment of truth,” he said. Additionally, he referred to Johnny Depp as his film idol and offered him a particular shoutout.

The festival highlighted the worldwide influence of cinematic arts while also honoring Singh for his outstanding accomplishments to the film industry and serving as a bridge for intercultural understanding as he became close to Johnny Depp. Other honorees of the event were Saudi actor-writer Abdullah Al-Sadhan and Diane Kruger, who was given the lifetime achievement award.

Singh discussed his role in the well-known Hindi film series “Don” in an interview with Deadline. He acknowledged that when it was first announced in August of this year that he would be taking Shah Rukh Khan’s place, there was some skepticism. He did, however, state that he intended to give the movie his all and provide his own viewpoint. Shah Rukh Khan (2006, 2011) and Amitabh Bachchan (1978) starred in the franchise’s first two installments.
