AKA: Ram and Sita After 34 years apart, Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia To Reunite on Film; Details Inside

Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia Topiwala, who played Ram and Sita in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, are well known actors. The real-life pair will rejoin for a future project after 34 years. Recently, Dipika Chikhlia uploaded a behind-the-scenes video from the Ramayan filming on her Instagram page, showing her collaborating with her co-star. The actress was shown reading her script while sitting in her vanity vehicle, seeing the sets, playing out her parts, and more in the film. The video footage also featured Arun and Dipika conversing while lounging on a sofa. On set...BTS," she captioned the video.

Fans are obviously ecstatic to see the pair reunite on TV after seeing the footage. "My SitaRam is together once again," one person said. "Can't wait to see this..all the best to the entire crew," another person said. Another person said, "This is incredible. Just cannot pass this up.

Notice, directed by Pradeep Gupta, purportedly reunites the actors. Producer Aditya Pratap Singh Raghuvanshi recently disclosed to MidDay that the movie is a contemporary rendition of the Ramayana. He believed Govil and Chikhlia were the perfect candidates to appear in the film since the legendary offering has dominated their public image. He continued by saying that it tells the tale of a weak man who battles for the truth and defeats a dishonest government. According to Singh, the movie's title refers to the idea that every time you get a notification, a problem always arises.

It would be wonderful to work with Dipika once again, adds Arun Govil, who is thrilled to rejoin with Chikhlia. He continued by stating that he is portraying a regular guy seeking justice and that he accepted to perform in the movie since the role represents dharma and truth.

The Ramayana has been adapted into several television dramas in India throughout the years, but Ramayan, starring Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, is still one of the most well-known. The 1987 Doordarshan premiere of Ramayan, which Ramanand Sagar wrote, produced, and directed, quickly attained cult status. Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia Topiwala were such a popular on-screen couple that they went on to develop the television series Love Kush, which aired from 1987 to 1989.
