It was discovered by News18.com that Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalized at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. The actor had published a post earlier in the day, only one hour before we found out about his condition. The post was meant for his admirers and included a mysterious message. Amitabh sent his appreciation to his social media fans.

At 12 p.m. (Friday afternoon), he tweeted, “T 4950—in gratitude ever.” Interestingly, he posted a similar remark on his blog. “I am eternally grateful for your love and prayers. I am always appreciative of your kindness and devotion. Always be appreciative of your consistency. Later, love and more,” his message said. Even though the post was indicated as published on March 15, News18 was unable to confirm the exact publication time at the time of publishing.

Big B, meanwhile, was “treated for peripheral, and not coronary heart,” a source informed News18.com. “An angioplasty was performed on a clot in his leg, not on his heart,” the source said.
