Amitabh Bachchan, the host of KBC 15, claims he wants to serve as a marriage counselor on the program; here’s why
It is one of the oldest game shows in India, yet despite its age, Kaun Banega Crorepati is still successful in keeping people riveted to their television screens. The creators of the program that is based on common knowledge and makes money have already introduced spectators to the 15th season of the show. The competition follows the same basic concept each week, with fresh contenders taking their places in front of presenter Amitabh Bachchan when they emerge victorious in the Fastest Finger First round. Rachana Rastogi, a housewife from New Delhi, was one of the most recent competitors to answer all of the questions correctly in the entry-level round. The fact that the lady won money wasn’t the only thing that put her in the spotlight; she also kept Big B updated on the difficulties she was having in her marriage.
Rachana has this theory that her husband is a miser and that he never takes her out because he doesn’t want to waste money. After hearing what she had to say, Amitabh Bachchan made a lighthearted suggestion to the station that they modify his role as a presenter to that of a marital counselor. “I would like to request that the staff at the channel change my designation from anchor to marriage counselor. Thank you.” This is the only area where married people may get together to talk about their concerns. Amitabh Bachchan offers Rachana consolation by saying, “We will look for a solution for you.”
The presenter then turns his attention to the contestant’s spouse and gives him some sound advice, which is that he should begin lavishing his money on the contestant’s wife. The guy defends himself by disclosing that he had already been to Europe with the woman in question. But Rachana rebuts this by saying that the trip was funded by a financial institution. She never ceases to emphasize the fact that he does not buy her anything extravagant to make her happy. After the full scope of the issue has been uncovered, Amitabh Bachchan suggests a thoughtful compromise in the form of a romantic idea in order to settle the dispute. The host requests that the spouse choose a greeting card that reads “I Love You” in large, bold letters across the front of the card. Big B stresses the importance of the card having both a heart with an arrow and a rose on it.
The Shahenshah of Bollywood approaches the guy and requests that the following day’s date be written on the card. He then writes: “Hello darling, I want to take you to Europe at my own cost, and I will spend money on whatever you want to buy while we are there.” Sincerely thank you, with all of my love”
The gameplay of KBC is really straightforward; each participant has the opportunity to earn a predetermined sum if they continue to provide appropriate responses up until they reach the jackpot question. If a competitor is uncertain of their answers, they may use one of the four “lifelines” that are provided to them to assist them climb up the ladder.
