Following Animal’s success, rumors have claimed that the actress would star in Aashiqui 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan. “Triptii has been the talk of the town following the historic success of Animal, and the makers feel that she would set the screen on fire with Kartik Aaryan,” Pinkvilla cited a source as saying. After some period of talks, the creators have locked her in as the main female character.

The remaining cast members will be locked in shortly for the Anurag Basu-directed film, which opens in the first quarter of 2024. On the other hand, the casting of Triptii has not yet been confirmed.
