Grammy Award winner Beyonce allegedly spent $7.5 million on jewelry for her private performance in Dubai, which is almost one-third of the rumored $24 million salary she received for the invitation-only engagement.
The 41-year-old "Crazy in Love" singer performed for the first time in nearly five years at an invitation-only concert to celebrate the opening of the brand-new "Atlantis The Royal" hotel in the UAE city. According to TMZ, she received a $24 million pay check for the performance, according to femalefirst.co.uk.
Her jewelry is now thought to have cost around one-third of the reported salary. According to Page Six, Beyonce donned jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz worth roughly $7.5 million over many ensembles.
It contained large diamond chandelier earrings, several diamond and green Colombian emerald fan earrings weighing 100 carats or more, and a 30-carat yellow diamond ring.
She was wearing one of her previous ensembles, which comprised red gloves and another set of Schwartz diamond earrings, along with a halo-style crown.
The singer's final outfit for the performance was a pink mini-dress by Ukrainian designer Ivan Frolov encrusted in crystals, to which she added matching stockings, gloves, and pyramid earrings with more than 60 carats of diamonds.
It "simply goes to show that no matter what, Ukrainian companies continue to present the world their resistance and culture," Ivan told Vogue of the outfit, which was "made in our studio in Kiev, Ukraine, amid conflict and severe blackouts."
KJ Moody, Beyonce's stylist, uploaded a number of images from the performance with the following caption: "Wow! My first live performance that I styled myself was this one. What an occasion! Since I was five years old, I have seen this lady demolish the home. Screaming and dreaming of being a part of a moment like this one day when attending Destiny's Child concerts." With her compensation, Beyonce made more than $280,000 per minute for her 85-minute set in Dubai.
The singer's set selection did not include any of her recent songs; instead, she sang favorites including "Beautiful Liar," "Halo," "Crazy in Love," and "Drunk in Love."
Beyonce's parents Tina Knowles-Lawson and Mathew Knowles, her husband Jay-Z, and their three kids were in the crowd, along with well-known figures including Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, Liam Payne, and Bar Refaeli.
