As the movie celebrated its 25th anniversary on Sunday night, Karan held three special screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in Mumbai. With the movie, Karan Johar also reached his 25th anniversary in the business. Karan put up unique photo opportunities props where moviegoers could snap photographs, and tickets were offered for Rs 25. Online videos depict people congregating to recreate the classic movie and dance to the music included in it. Fans were also included in the festivities by SRK, Rani, and Karan. Kajol was unable to attend the event owing to an outside schedule, however.
