After the wedding, Swara is seen leaving her maternal house with Fahad, her brother Ishan Bhasker, and her mother Ira Bhasker while wearing a pink lehenga and gold jewelry.

Swara's friend tweeted the video and the following: "An emotionally charged and overwhelming moment for all of us, saying goodbye to best friend @ReallySwara on her vidai. Tough guy, Ishan Bhaskar aka Abu, was wearing sunglasses for a reason, and the stern Commodore @theUdayB opted to stay out of the picture. Much appreciation to Muba." She was directing the finger towards Swara's absent father, C. Uday Bhasker.

On Twitter, he responded to the video and gave an explanation of why he wanted not to be in the shot. "Thanks for sharing this touching'moment,' @sinjini m," he commented as the Swara Bhasker wedding came to an end. Clearly, the "gruff" Commodore had good cause to remain out of the picture. This is a time that even a "khadus" (rude) parent would find to be emotionally charged—the it's "bidai" of our beloved @ReallySwara.

Akhilesh Yadav, the head of the Samajwadi Party, and Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, both attended the wedding reception this week in Delhi. The Samajwadi Party's Jaya Bachchan was also present at the event. Sashi Tharoor and Derek O'Brien also attended the event.
