Chehre: Rumi Jaffrey is convinced of Riya Chakraborty's acting, then why the makers do not want to show the face of the actress?

Rhea Chakraborty's film Chehre is ready for release. Apart from Riya in this film, Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor and many other actors are also there. Chehre is a suspense thriller film directed by Rumi Jaffrey. It is believed that Chehre is to be released on Hotstar in July.

Its trailer was launched on 8 March. After which the controversy started whether Riya Chakraborty would also be included in the promotion of this film or not? Director Rumi Jaffrey has clarified in an interview to ETimes that Riya has a significant role in the film. He has done a good job in the film. It is clear that the role of Riya in the film has not been trimmed. He was not included in the bus poster and only one shot of him was kept in the trailer as well.

Makers removed Riya's face?
The producer of this film is Anand Pandit. Who has earlier made big films like webseries Big Bull, PM Narendra Modi, Total Dhamaal, Sarkar 3. Earlier it was discussed that Riya Chakraborty would get a proper place in the promotions, posters etc. of the film according to her role, but according to sources she was sidelined due to Anand Pandit's insistence. Anand Pandit did not want that Riya's name should be made a selling point of the film after the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Anyway, from Amitabh Bachchan to Emraan Hashmi and Annu Kapoor, there are more big actors than Riya.

Rumi Jaffrey got along
Director Rumi Jaffrey is a friend of Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty. He had planned a film for both of them. Rumi had even narrated the script to Sushant, but before the project went on the floor, Sushant committed suicide. The agencies involved in solving the case had also questioned Rumi about Sushant.

Rumi kept his side very clearly and he was standing with Riya Chakraborty from day one. He is confident that Riya will be active in films again soon after getting rid of the bad memories of this case.

Riya became the most desirable 2020
Rhea Chakraborty has been voted as the Times Most Desirable Woman 2020. Riya left behind stars like Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani in this list in voting. This has led to a rapid change in his image. It has been more than a year since Sushant left the world but the investigation of his case is still going on. His fans are still waiting for the truth of this matter to come out.
