Concert by AR Rahman in Chennai is being investigated for causing traffic disruptions in the city

The musical master returned to India with a concert after a lengthy absence.

AR Rahman recently appeared in the Marakuma Nenjam event at the Adityaram Palace in Paniyur, Chennai. The performance reportedly generated a lot of gridlock on the roads since so many people came to see it. According to reports, the performance was quite packed and caused significant havoc in the neighborhood. There are now rumors that DGP Shankar Jiwal has mandated an investigation to determine what caused the commotion.

DGP Shankar Jiwal reportedly instructed Tambaram Police Commissioner Amalraj to look into the city’s disturbance as a result of the event. The event location was visited by Commissioner Amalraj, who said that an appropriate inquiry is presently being conducted. He continued by saying that while the organizers had clearance for 25,000 attendees, only 45,000 to 50,000 really came there.

Despite the color coding and classifications, the crowds made it hard for individuals to enter the arena. Despite purchasing tickets, many individuals were unable to enjoy the music. An amazing musical evening with AR Rahman was promised to the audience by the private organization that organized the performance. Prices for the tickets ranged from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 27,000, and they were offered in a variety of categories, including silver, gold, platinum, and diamond.

Huge amounts of traffic were generated by the throng, disrupting city highways. The folks utilizing the road had a lot of difficulties due to the heavy congestion. The public had previously been warned by Chennai Traffic Police that there will be significant traffic close to the event location and encouraged to make travel arrangements in advance.

According to reports, MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, arrived in Mahabalipuram later than planned because his security van was also snarled in traffic.
