Dayaben, a well-known character played by Disha Vakani, has been absent from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for more than six years. Disha, who once portrayed Daya Jethalal Gada in Asit Kumar Modi’s comedy, had an extended maternity break in 2017 and hasn’t made an appearance since. Producer Asit Modi made a significant news that he would soon be bringing back fans’ favorite Disha Vakani aka Dayaben to celebrate his 15 years of successfully delighting viewers. In this 15-year journey, a sincere congratulations to each of them, he remarked. We must not forget one such artist. It is Daya Bhabhi, also known as Disha Vakani. Through the years, she has amused her followers and made us chuckle as well. Disha Vakani’s return has been eagerly anticipated by her fans, and I can assure you that she will soon return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Since about 15 years ago, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been doing well. The performers Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi, Shailesh Lodha, and Neha Mehta among others have left the program throughout the years. Raj Anadkat, who once played Tappu in the well-known comedy, quit the program recently as well.

Asit Kumar Modi addressed the consecutive departures of numerous performers from his program in March of this year. “I am also weary of having to respond to and begrudge people asking this question.
