Day 3 Box Office Collection For Bastar: Adah Sharma Starrer Finds It Difficult To Draw Crowd To Theaters

Day 3 of Bastar Box Office Collection: Following the enormous success of “Bastar: The Naxal Story,” director Sudipto Sen has made a comeback to the big screen. He previously worked on the very popular film “The Kerala Story” with Bollywood actress Adah Sharma. The film, which also stars Raima Sen, Vijay Krishna, Shilpa Shukla, Yashpal Sharma, Subrat Dutta, and Indira Tiwari, is based on the Naxalite-Maoist uprising in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar area. As to preliminary estimates, “Bastar: The Naxal Story” brought in Rs 90 lakh on day three, according to the Sacnilk website. In three days, the film made Rs 2.05 crore after earning Rs 75 lakh on the second day.

Before the film’s premiere, “Bastar” caused a stir when some JNU students staged protests against it. A few students even called for the “Bastar” creators to be held accountable. Adah added, “When you play a tough cop like Neerja Mathur in Bastar, I want people to think that I portrayed her in the strongest, most fearless, and powerful way,” in an interview with News18 on the criticism. I want everyone to take my words in the movie seriously.

She is expressing her indignation at having seen the 76 jawans murdered and dismembered when she claims that they were slaughtered and that she wants to shoot them down. While I may not phrase it like Adah does, Neerja would,” she said.

Vipul Amrutlal Shah is the producer of “Bastar: The Naxal Story,” which debuted in theaters on March 15, 2024. At the box office, the film faced competition with Yodha, an action film starring Sidharth Malhotra.

Regarding her professional career, Adah Sharma most recently starred with Sunil Grover in the online series “Sunflower Season 2.” In 2023, she costarred alongside Prem Parija, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Shreya Chaudhary, Mukesh Chhabra, Ishtiyak Khan, and Shaji Choudhary in the online series “Commando.”
