Director Blessy breaks his silence over filming the intimate scene between Goat and Prithviraj in Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life Controversy

New Delhi: The public has responded well to the Malayalam movie Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life. Although the box office figures validate its acceptability, the substance heightens the excitement. The real-life tale of Naeeb, a guy who was drawn to Saudi Arabia seeking a job and ended up stranded there, is the basis for the survival drama Aadujeevitham.

Both the public and reviewers have been amazed by Prithviraj’s authentic depiction of the character. Though there were rumours that the movie had a private moment with the star and a goat, the Censor Board cut it out. The director, Blessy, has finally addressed the allegations one week after the movie’s premiere. He refuted the claims and said that no such scene was filmed in his most recent interview.

The well-known director said that if he had adapted every page of the book that served as the inspiration for his movie, he would have needed ten years to complete it. He did, however, choose to use some artistic licence in order to turn a 43-page book into a movie. The aforementioned scenario is referenced in the novel but not in the movie. Numerous sources claimed that it was shot, but the censor chose not to use it. Blessy said in an interview with Manorama News that he never filmed a scenario like that. “There is no need for this dispute. I’m not sure whether these rumours are being spread on purpose. He said, “I hope the audience will keep themselves away from such misinformation.

Blessy went on to say that he just intended to convey the main ideas of the novel, since the movie doesn’t always depict every element of the narrative. The filmmaker did, however, confess that they had discussed the identical scenario back in the screenplay phase. “Discussions regarding this scene arose during the scripting stage,” he said. Benyamin crafted the sequence in a really nuanced manner. However, it’s not an easy scenario for me to shoot. That wasn’t my primary worry, however. I could have taken the situation in a lot of different ways, but Najeeb was on my mind. After all, wouldn’t he feel guilty? My Najeeb is not like the Najeeb in the novel, who may or may not be guiltless.

Many people consider Prithviraj’s performance in Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life to be the performance of a lifetime. The movie is doing well in cinemas and has made almost Rs 40 crore nett in only six days. Other languages have also had dubbing done for the movie.
