Director Pranay Meshram claims that the character “Akelli” was based on a woman from the Middle East

Newcomer Pranay Meshram, whose film “Akelli” is about to be released, said that the narrative of a Middle Eastern lady served as its inspiration.

Nushrratt Bharuccha plays the lead in the forthcoming true-events-based drama thriller. The movie shows the bravery and tenacity of an Indian lady who must make choices that might end her life in order to provide for her family. The compelling story of the film is certain to connect with viewers and have an effect.

 

Speaking on the same, Pranay revealed: “A Middle Eastern lady I met a while ago served as the inspiration for my film.When I first heard about her adventure, I thought it to be pretty fascinating, which prompted me to learn more about it. What I discovered was very eye-opening.

 

“It seems that many people who move to such locations in search of lucrative work experience the same problem and appear to be imprisoned. The atrocities of such efforts made by those wanting to achieve better livelihoods or work prospects are attempted to be brought to light in my directing debut, “Akelli,” he said.

 

On prior occasions, Pranay served as an assistant director for films including “Queen” and “Hasee Toh Phasee.”

 

Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, and Aparna Padgaonkar, together with Vicky Sidana and Shashant Shah, are the producers of the Dashami Studioz movie “Akelli.”

 

The publication date is August 18.
