Actress Katrina Kaif has starred in several blockbusters throughout the course of her almost two-decade career, making her one of Bollywood’s greatest stars.
The actress spoke on improving herself as an artist and making sure, “I do not fall into my own traps of trying to repeat myself or trying to maintain or sustain any image,” even if she is at the pinnacle of her career.
When asked what she anticipated after reaching such a high level of fame, Katrina told IANS, “First and foremost, I think the love and the support that I’ve gotten from the audiences is incredible.” It’s incredible and will always rank among the most noteworthy accomplishments or, in my opinion, unique happenings. In my life as an artist, I would describe it as somewhat. But I don’t believe that anything is certain. As an actor, you have ups and downs.
“And you need to know how to, no matter what the outcome is, ride that out and how to have perseverance and to continue following it and to perform and deliver in each film that comes,” the actress said.
Katrina, who has worked on successful films like “Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?,” “Namastey London,” “Partner,” “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” “Bang Bang!”, and the “Tiger” series, to mention a few, expressed her gratitude and happiness for the amazing ride she has had.
The actress, who recently starred in “Tiger 3” and is married to actor Vicky Kaushal, expressed her ambition to improve herself going forward.
The actress, who was born in Hong Kong, said, “My desire right now would look forward to from here is exactly what I spoke about earlier about bettering myself as an artist.”
One of the highest-paid actresses in India, Katrina continued, “making sure I do not fall into my own traps of trying to repeat myself or trying to maintain or sustain any image because I have done something before because I have fit into a particular, you know, type of role very well, does not mean that you know that is where my future lies.”
“In my opinion, artists must learn to change with time. You have to be checking in with yourself all the time. For me, it is the reality right now.
The actor expressed her desires for the role and her current point of conviction.
“At the moment, I’m highly aware that before I can fully commit to a film, I must establish a strong emotional connection with it.”
Two sets of Barbie dolls were fashioned after the actress in 2010 and 2011. “Excited to keep getting the opportunities and chances to perform in different roles and bring new aspects of me as a performer on screen,” the actress said.
