Due to a one-year acting break, Samantha Ruth Prabhu suffers a staggering loss of Rs 12 crore

Fans of Samantha Ruth Prabhu had a major shock when many media reports indicated that the actress will take a one-year acting hiatus owing to health concerns.Samantha is now coping with the auto-immune condition known as myositis. In October 2022, she had informed others of her diagnosis.

After finishing Citadel India and Kushi, Samantha reportedly opted not to sign any Telugu, Tamil, or Bollywood films and even returned the advance money to the producers. The actress would thus “lose a significant amount of money during this period,” according to report.

According to the source, Samantha’s potential loss is between Rs 10 and Rs 12 crore given that she generally charges between Rs 3.5 and Rs 4 crore each film and that she just signed three projects.

In a recent social media post where she announced the end of Citadel India, Samantha seemed to confirm her break. And Citadel India is done, she wrote. When you know what’s coming, a break doesn’t seem at all horrible. @mensit @rajanddk the group I was unaware that I required I’m grateful that you supported me through every obstacle and never gave up on me. I want to make you proud more than anything in the world. I’m grateful for getting the lifetime role… Until you write me again, that is.

Citadel India has not yet revealed the release date for Kushi, despite the film’s September release date. Samantha co-stars with Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi while she collaborates with Varun Dhawan on the Raj and DK series.
