Fame from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma Priya Ahuja CALLS Asit Modi a “sadist”

Astonishing accusations have been made against the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi and his crew by television actress Priya Ahuja. Priya, who once portrayed Rita Reporter in the well-known program, spoke candidly about the reasons for her firing from the comedy in a recent interview.

Priya said that she had cut ties with TMKOC and complained that the producers ignored her email after she quit. The actress also referred to Asit Modi and his group as “sadists.” “I then sent them a formal resignation that made it clear that I was leaving the program. Even so, they didn’t respond to it. They probably waited for me to get weary and take a step like this. And after my resignation, I was certain that I would be replaced by another actor within two days by the film’s producers. That is what has really occurred. They have re-released Rita’s song and hired a different actor. They are as they are. They like doing such things because they are sadists, she said.

Priya also said that despite having been involved with TMKOC from the start, she was fired once her husband, Malav Rajda, left the program. Malav was the sitcom’s director, but he quit in December 2022.

“Because I am Malav’s wife, I was kicked from the program. However, I did not come to this city to find a husband. How can they treat an artist like that? I never went over the line, even though my husband directed the play. On set, I always conducted myself like any other actor. Asit ji, though, undoubtedly jumbled my personal and professional lives. They did all of this to me because Malav departed the show, the actress continued.

Additionally, Priya said that her husband Malav departed the program following a number of “episodes of misbehavior.” She claimed that the director’s patience ran out and he made the decision to quit. He had a one-month notice period, but 15 days later, Asit ji instructed Malav through Sohil to stop showing up to the set starting the next day. Malav sobbed that day because he was discouraged by Asit ji’s unexpected decision to remove him off the program even though he was already planning to leave. To him, TMKOC was like a kid, Priya added.
