Fame Kantara Rishab Shetty: I won’t Talk; Let My Work Speak; Prequel Filming Will Start in December

The director and star of the widely popular pan-Indian movie “Kantara,” Rishab Shetty, said on Monday that he would not provide any information on the much anticipated sequel.

He said that filming on the movie would start in December.

After doing a unique puja at Kundapura town, Rishab said to reporters at the Kundapura Anegudde temple, “I always feel that work is better than words.” Let my work speak for itself. A teaser and a poster have been made available. They will discuss the film with you. It is best if the movie speaks for itself.

Since the story is based on coastal Karnataka, the film will be filmed there.

Regarding casting, Rishab said that he has chosen his own actors and that he is still looking for significant parts.

Kannada artists will have preference, he said in response to a question about whether he would give local artists an opportunity.

“Because people helped make the Kannada film ‘Kantara’ a big hit. He emphasized, “We are looking for fresh talent and giving preference to individuals with a history in theater.

The ‘Kantara-1’ project has begun construction. ‘Kantara-2’ has been greatly blessed by your watching and blessings, which have contributed to its success. I’ll dedicate the accomplishment to the Kannada community. And thus the voyage will go on. We’re going to tell the story of what occurred before ‘Kantara,'” said Rishab.

“I would want the prequel to be blessed in the same way as ‘Kantara’ was blessed previously. Given their prior tremendous performance, the whole team has accepted this as a major duty,” he said.

“I am very fortunate to have the Anegudde Ganapathy (Ganesh) temple in my life. According to Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, he would often go from Bengaluru to this location in order to get divine blessings. This is where the ‘Kantara’ muhurat was performed before,” he remarked.

“We’re taking the same path as before. This time too, we’re requesting Lord Ganapathy’s blessings,” Rishab said.

“We did not want to put devotees who attend the temple through difficulty, therefore we did not invite the media. The administrators of the temple had granted us permission to stay for ten minutes. Information was somehow exposed. We had considered beginning the task simply and providing worship,” he said.

Regarding the production company Hombale Films, Rishab said, “They’re a big strength and a big powerhouse production in the country.”

It is commendable how confident Hombale Films and Vijay Kiragandur were in the early going with “Kantara.” He replied that they are still meeting all the plot criteria.

“Vijay Kiragandur and I now have a stronger bond. We’ll all do our best to provide quality work. The technical crew remains unchanged. Numerous new artists will be involved as well as be cast. Pre-production work has begun, and the screenplay has been finished,” Rishab said.

The wife of Rishab Shetty, Pragathi Shetty, said that the Anegundi Ganesha temple is quite remarkable.

“This is where all wonderful things in our life come from. This was the first time Rishab saw me here. Here was when ‘Kantara’s’ adventure started. We’re still doing special prayers and getting the ‘Kantara’ prequel project underway today.

“No pressure is present. The obligation must be fulfilled. “I am now working on the prequel as a costume designer after having worked on “Kantara,” the actress said.

Pragathi Shetty was involved in the film “Kantara.”
