‘Farzi’ Raj & DK were asked to offer Shahid Kapoor a show since he loved "The Family Man"

The compelling teaser for the new online series Farzi on Prime Video has generated a lot of hazy conversation. He recently spoke openly about his experience working in the OTT industry during an interview. It's a lot of firsts, he remarked. Even before everyone began discussing OTT as a possibility, we began talking about the program. I refer to the whole film community when I say "everyone." I like Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's programs. I like the first and second episodes of The Family Man, said Shahid, who was originally contacted by Raj & DK for a role in a movie eight years ago.

"The Family Man 2 by Raj and DK was fantastic. I phoned them to see if they had a movie for me, and they said they did. They said "really?" and I responded "yep"! Working with professionals who are at the top of their game—and in India, they are the best of the best—is exhilarating. He added further.

Farzi is an eight-episode criminal drama with Raj & DK's trademark humor that is seen through the eyes of a cunning underdog street artist who is seeking to subvert a system that rewards the privileged. Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Amol Palekar, among others, play key parts in the ensemble cast of the television series. Farzi, a movie made by D2R Films, will make its Prime Video debut on February 10 in India and more than 240 other nations and territories.
