Fifteen Years After Taare Zameen Par, Darsheel Safary and actress mother Tisca Chopra attended Ira Khan’s reception

Delhi, New: On Saturday night, Ira Khan’s wedding reception was a star-studded event with some of the greatest personalities in the movie business gathered together to partake in the festivities. Speaking of the guest list, Aamir Khan’s favorite pupil was undoubtedly there. Yes, we are referring about Darsheel Safary, also known as Ishaan Awasthi, from Taare Zameen Par.

Wearing a blue jacket and matching slacks, the young actor was seen at the occasion. Actress Tisca Chopra also posted a second photo of the actor from the reception night on her page. The Taare Zameen Par actress Tisca, who acted with Aamir Khan, didn’t skip the event, showing up in an exquisite range saree. Tisca Chopra posted a few photos from the evening online a day after the celebration. The third picture, which shows Ishaan beside Tisca Chopra and his on-screen mother Darsheel Safary, is our favorite, however. Using the caption, Tisca shared the photo: “Swipe to see what happens 15 years down.” One of the first people to post heart emojis in the comments area was Darsheel. In Taare Zameen Par, Tisca Chopra portrayed Darsheel’s mother, for those who are unaware.

This is how the student that Aamir Khan liked the most showed up at the wedding celebration.

Darsheel Safary spoke about the misconceptions surrounding his status in the profession last year during an interview with The Indian Express. “Many thought that I had left acting,” the 26-year-old remarked, “as I decided to first complete my studies and then move to theatre.” They thought I had given up on the movie business. Few people were aware of my dedication to honing my abilities and improving myself. To be honest, I never had it easy or had a lot on my plate. I made the decision to never take a shortcut again. I had been in theater for years, and I decided I wanted to return to the cinema during the epidemic, so I began auditioning. That hasn’t been simple either—out of 100 auditions, I would only pass a few. But believe me, I tried my hardest on every exam.”

The part of a dyslexic kid that Darsheel Safary performed in Aamir Khan’s 2007 smash film Taare Zameen Par is what made him most famous. Later on, he had appearances in movies like Midnight’s Children, Zokkomon, and Bumm Bumm Bole.
