Fighter Trailer: Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan Take The Battle To New Heights
New Delhi: On Monday, the much anticipated trailer for Siddharth Anand’s Fighter debuted, and it’s an intensely emotional ride. Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone), and other members of the “special response team” are shown in the trailer as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, played by Anil Kapoor, advising them to develop “interpersonal relations” with one another because they are the most valuable weapon in a war. The action then moves to Jammu and Kashmir, where Deepika, Hrithik, and their pals are seen having a blast.
After a terrorist incident in Pulwama, however, Hrithik and Deepika’s elite squad are sent on a mission of a lifetime, and an airstrike from across the border is launched in retaliation. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone work together for the first time in Fighter. Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan have collaborated on films such as Bang Bang and the 2019 blockbuster War. This is Deepika Padukoné’s third movie with Siddharth Anand, after the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan, which also starred John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan, and Bachna Ae Haseeno.
